Village Road Kitchen
Modern and fabulous. This family contacted me as soon as they closed to renovate their kitchen. We had some interesting challenges including making a new built in Sub-Zero refrigerator and a Wolf cooktop work in the existing cabinet layout. For the fridge area, that meant we needed to remove the cabinet above the existing fridge and come up with a custom solution as the Sub-Zero fridge was much taller than the old one. We opted for a custom built wine rack which was then painted, along with the cabinets. A new wooden range hood, island lighting, custom floating shelves, tile and countertops were also included. And can we just talk about that purple island?! The clients wanted to use granite rather than quartz and we used one with subtle plum colored flecks, which was the inspiration for the island color.
