Feeling blue? This client had dreamt of a blue island and boy did we deliver! In this first floor project, we kept the perimeter cabinets with some slight modifications and painted them, However, the island saw the biggest transformation. We completely removed the existing island which was tall and L shaped. By slightly reworking the layout, we were able to expand the island to 11’ (!!) AND make it with cabinetry on the front and back, effectively doubling the amount of storage. We relocated the microwave to the new island, making way for the fabulous wooden range hood. Other highlights of this project include amazing new lighting, custom floating shelves, dramatic tile wall, a fireplace makeover with new custom mantle, new paint and window treatments.
