Locust Shade Kitchen
We transformed this dated custom kitchen into a fun transitional space. While we kept the existing cabinets and painted them, we were able to make some custom changes such as replacing a plate rack cabinet with custom floating shelves and extending the countertop to include an additional cabinet and a large dual-zone beverage fridge. We also were able to remedy a large gap that had been left when the current homeowners replaced the broken built-in fridge with a standard size stainless steel one. Additionally, we re-worked the built in range hood to remove the custom detailing which the homeowners were not a fan of!
The scope included painting the cabinets, new counters, a new tile backsplash with green herringbone detail behind the range to correspond with the island color, adding custom floating shelves, replacing the electric cooktop with a gas cooktop, new lighting above the island and dining table, adding under cabinet lighting, and painting in the kitchen.
