Barboursville Kitchen

It is always such a joy to revamp a home before a family moves in. This family, expecting their fifth child, hired me to renovate their entire 6,000 sq ft farmhouse right after they closed. The whole house reno included whole house flooring, painting, lighting, and some structural updates.

This kitchen (and the master bath) got the biggest transformation. My approach here was to keep the existing layout but we replaced all of the upper cabinet doors as they had a dated design. All cabinet got new soft close hinges and hardware. We also updated the trim package of the kitchen, removing the decorative doors attached to the sides and ends of cabinets and replacing those with bead board and straight edged trim. New granite and ash counters, backsplash (tile & brick), lighting, and custom ash dining tables for both the kitchen and dining rooms complete this space.
